The Shireem Klezmer Band is playing its first performance for Tallahassee’s first Jewish Cultural Festival.
The musicianship of each member alone is outstanding, and when you put them together, they create simply amazing music. You won’t be able to keep still during their performance!

Music is a big part of the lives of the musicians in "Shirei Or". Gary Sokolow, Barry Moline and Heather Kufert have been leading music for years at the Block Family Religious School. Heather is a NFTY trained song leader and the Program Director of Temple Israel. They love playing music together and they want to share that love with you!

Klezmer Band from FSU College of Music and JASA (Jewish Arts Student Association)
Formed in the Fall of 2007, this Klezmer band quickly became popular in the College of Music at FSU, playing in masterclasses, studios, recitals, and lessons. The group consists of Molly Sweet, Mark Fugina, and Natalie Grata clarinets), Michelle Fry (cello), and Andrew Pfalz (accordion, composer/arranger).
